On Tuesday, May 6 at 6 pm the Center for Communication in Medicine (CCM) will host the next in their SpeakSooner Community Education webinar series.
Improving Healthcare Communication: SpeakSooner and Adirondack Health Meet the Challenge will offer an informative discussion about the success of CCM’s signature tool, SpeakSooner: A Patient’s Guide to Difficult Conversations into medical practice.
A live panel and video interviews will prompt an in-depth discussion on how this program has introduced and integrated SpeakSooner communication tools in Adirondack Health (Saranac Lake, NY) oncology and shown significant benefit to both patients and providers – without increasing demands on a time-crunched system. Audience Q&A will be offered via chat.
Our panelists from Adirondack Health include, David Mastrianni, MD, oncology/hematology; Sara Ames, AOCNP: Jessica Shumway, PA cardiology; Mary Smith, cancer patient. We’ll also be joined by Luke Meissner, Director of Business Development and Provider Relations via pre-recorded video. The webinar is free and open to the public.
